A manual chain-type pipe cutter that cuts steel pipe cold — no flame, no sparks, no heat-affected edge. The chain wraps the pipe, the cutter wheels bite in, and a short back-and-forth swing of the handle shears a clean square cut. It is the tool of choice on live sites where hot work is not allowed: fire-protection lines, refineries, gas and chemical plants, ships and tank farms.

Cutting is purely mechanical, so the tool can work on lines that still hold residue, gas or fuel — exactly where a grinder or torch is forbidden.

The wheels shear the wall instead of burning it. There is no slag, no heat-affected zone and no discolouring, so the pipe is ready to bevel and weld straight away.

The ratchet handle needs less than a quarter turn to work, so the cutter fits in trenches, risers, ceiling voids and between close-packed lines where a saw will never go.

What ships with the tool
Every cutter arrives complete and ready to work: the frame with its chain fitted, a full set of four cutting wheels, and the drive handle. From H22S upward the tool uses twin drive handles for the extra leverage large pipe needs, and the H30S and H36S ship with a wheeled support stand so the head can be rolled to the pipe and held square while cutting.
